Radiology
Our Radiology Department offers advanced imaging services to diagnose medical condition and injuries.
Radiology Technology is a science combining advanced technology and human compassion. This medical field has expanded tremendously since the days when it was merely referred to as "X-ray." Most modern radiology departments now include several different imaging techniques such as: diagnostic radiography (routine x-rays), ultrasound, CT scans, nuclear medicine, radiation therapy, MRI, and special procedures such as vascular imaging.
The primary technical personnel found performing in this field of medical science are the radiologists and specialized technologists. Radiologists are medical doctors who interpret the studies and provide the results. The different technologists use their knowledge of physics, human anatomy, and physiology to help create the permanent medical images.
